Requirements

The following requirements must be met in order to hire highly qualified foreign personnel:

  • Have a university degree or other higher education qualification. If you do not have this degree, you can obtain the visa by justifying that you have, exceptionally, professional experience equivalent to this higher qualification, of a minimum duration of five years.
  • Have an employment contract of at least one year and with a minimum salary of 40,500 euros gross per year.
  • Not have a criminal record in Spain and in the country of origin or in the countries in which he/she has resided during the last five years.
  • The company must demonstrate that it complies with its tax obligations and that it is financially sound.

Estimated time

The approximate time for the resolution of this procedure is 45 days.

This procedure entitles the worker to come to Spain with his/her close relatives (husband, unmarried partner and children).
